Julian Hartsock
As an owner, Julian has the responsibility of overseeing all S&J Electric’s day-to-day operations. The activities include field coordination of projects, manpower, and the overall direction of the company. It's a job that requires in-depth electrical contracting experience and strong leadership skills, all the while never losing sight of the big picture.
Julian began his professional journey as an apprentice electrician. He then progressed to the positions of journeyman and foreman, before finally landing the role of project manager for a major electrical contracting company. With 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, he is well-versed in his field. With his significant experience, he has ensured that the project's scope, cost, and schedule are continuously aligned with the strategic objectives of the business. Additionally, he always seeks opportunities to modify or enhance the project as needed.
Julian holds a Master Electrician License with the State of Texas #398355, B.S. degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento and an M.B.A. from California State University, East Bay.
Sophia Hartsock
As co-owner, Sophia makes the day-to-day decisions regarding operations and oversees all financial aspects of the company. She manages all internal budgeting and accounting, banking and surety relationships, financial reporting, risk management, and contracts.
With over 10 years of financial services experience, Sophia brings a diverse financial background coupled with strong organizational skills. She started her career in the financial services industry with Bank of America where she had the opportunity to help multiple clients maximize their financial goals.
Sophia holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento.
